Poppy VandenBiesen

Instructor

Poppy VandenBiesen began her equestrian journey at the age of eight, quickly developing a deep passion that has only grown stronger over the years. By the time she turned ten, she secured a working student position, dedicating her days to riding and grooming inside the barn. This experience proved invaluable as Poppy began competing consistently on the A circuit, where she not only refined her skills but also had the opportunity to show case horses for others. Her determination culminated in her qualification for the Junior Hunter Finals, marking a significant milestone in her early career.

Continuing her commitment to riding, Poppy took on another role as a working student where she contributed to riding green horses, managing farm operations, and rehabilitating equines. Her dedication was recognized with the chance to compete at the World Equestrian Center in Florida and Ohio.

In pursuit of her dreams, Poppy made her way out to Ocala, Florida, where she spent a winter broadening her riding experiences. In April 2025, she took a significant step forward in her career by starting a position at Palladia Farm. Poppy is excited about this new chapter, eager to continue her journey in the equestrian world and share her passion and knowledge with others.
